LAUREN AND JASON PAK, OWNERS

We’re Jason and Lauren Pak, and we opened Achieve Fitness in 2012 with the mission to bring inclusivity and positive vibes to the fitness space! We felt as though their was too much exclusivity and elitism in the fitness world so we set out to create a space that welcomed and supported everyone who walked in the doors regardless of their age, ability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or background. We’re incredibly grateful for our team and our members that help us to work toward this mission every day!

In addition to running Achieve Fitness, we’re working to expand our reach with online training for folks who don’t live in the Boston area, as well as a mentorship program for personal trainers looking for guidance and education from the Achieve Fitness team.

 
 

THE COACHING TEAM

SARAH POLACCO, FITNESS DIRECTOR

Sarah has been a coach at Achieve Fitness since 2014. Her goal is to make people feel strong and healthy inside and out. She strives to make others feel confident in all aspects of their life through fitness. Outside of the gym Sarah can be found playing volleyball, dancing, watching the Fast and the Furious series, or taking on any new adventure that comes her way!

Sarah's professional certifications include: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, FMS, StrongFirst Team Leader (SFGII, SFL, SFB), USAW, TRX

TED ANDREWS, HEAD OF PROGRAM DESIGN

Ted has been coaching at Achieve since the summer of 2015. It's Ted's goal to use his fascination of physiology to help others reach new heights in their athleticism and health, all while having some laughs along the way. When not at Achieve, Ted is an ice cream and coffee connoisseur, enjoys Jennifer Lawrence movies, as well as hiking, cooking, traveling, and playing sports of all kinds!

Ted's professional certifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, FMS, SFG, Pn1, USAW2, PML1-RTS

EMILY BEINECKE, HEAD OF CULTURE AND COMMUNITY

Emily began coaching at Achieve in the summer of 2016. She loves collaborating with the members of the Achieve community as they work toward their goals both inside and outside of the gym. As an athlete, Emily has a distinct appreciation for the synergistic combination of physical therapy and effective strength programming. When she is not coaching at Achieve, you can find her on the gridiron as a wide receiver for the Boston Renegades. In the off-season, she can be found dominating the whiskey club at Rosebud in Somerville with friends.

MICHAELA MAZURE, COACH & PROGRAM DESIGNER

Michaela began coaching at Achieve in September of 2018. She loves to make others smile, and it is her goal to help everyone feel welcome and confident both inside and out of the gym. When she’s not at the gym, Michaela can be found experimenting in the kitchen, playing sports with friends, or spending time in Maine!

Michaela's professional certifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, FMS, SFG, USAW1

ARIEL WAHL, COACH & PROGRAM DESIGNER

Ariel, with a passion for all things fitness and wellness related and on a constant quest to find new fitness friends, found Achieve in 2017. She likes to help people build confidence in and outside the gym and help all members find the fun in their training- no matter the mode they choose. When not coaching you can find Ariel training for her next fitness venture, on the yoga mat or on her bike!

Ariel's professional certifications include: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, SFG, 500 hours Yoga Teacher Training

GINA BERRETTONI, COACH

Gina is a 2011 graduate of Bay State College's Physical Therapist Assistant program, and also a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner. In the last 3 years as a member of Achieve, she has been involved in powerlifting, and has run multiple 5ks, half marathons, and Reach the Beach Relays. She enjoys helping people get back to activity after injury, as well as helping people reach goals that they have set for themselves!

Gina's professional certifications include: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, PT Assistant, Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner

NICK FORGIONE, COACH

Nick is currently enrolled at Framingham State University in the Food and Nutrition Masters Program. Nick believes that health can be achieved with a solid nutrition and fitness protocol and it is his goal to help individuals optimize both. Outside of the gym, Nick enjoys being outdoors with his dog Willow, hiking, traveling and trying new restaurants around the city.

Nick's professional certifications include: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

HALEY HARRISON, PHYSICAL THERAPIST & COACH

Haley has been working in the physical therapy and fitness industries for over 6 years. She holds a BFA in Modern Dance and Integrative Approaches to Health and Wellness from The Ohio State University, and a DPT from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.

Haley’s professional certifications include: DPT, CSCS, SFG, FMSC, FMT, Rockblades, Kripalu Certified yoga instructor

HANNAH CRAVOTTA-CROUCH, HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Hannah loves to meet new people and learn their stories. You can usually find her behind the desk ready to answer your questions and bring a positive attitude to your day! Hannah is basically a Puma sponsored athlete (or at least she should be). When she’s not at the gym she likes traveling, watching soccer and listening to Taylor Swift.
